About Michelle

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP). With experience in counselling, education, teaching, and social work, I bring a compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to supporting clients in achieving meaningful and lasting change.

I take a warm, collaborative, and client-centred approach to therapy, drawing on evidence-based practices including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and strengths-based interventions. Together, we work to gain insight and clarity, foster healing, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore life's challenges. Whether you are navigating anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, family stress, or personal growth, I strive to help you gain clarity, build resilience, strengthen connections, and move toward the life you want to create. I believe meaningful change happens through collaboration, and I am committed to walking alongside you as you discover your strengths, develop new insights, and create lasting positive change.

More Than My Work

At the heart of my life is family. As a partner, mom, dance mom, and hockey-rink regular, I understand that life's most meaningful moments often come alongside its greatest challenges. These experiences have reinforced the importance of connection, resilience, and showing up for ourselves and those we love, especially during difficult times. They continue to shape the compassion, understanding, and perspective I bring to my work. I believe that caring for ourselves and nurturing the relationships that matter most creates the foundation for healing, growth, and lasting well-being.
