Yes! I am pleased to offer a free 15-minute consultation by phone or virtual meet-and-greet. Finding the right fit is an important part of the therapeutic process and can be a key factor in creating meaningful, lasting change. This is an opportunity for us to connect, discuss your needs, and determine whether I am the right therapist for you.
Your initial session is all about getting to know you. You are the expert of your story, and I am here to listen, support, and walk alongside you on your journey. This 90-minute session provides an opportunity for us to discuss confidentiality, review your intake forms, explore what brings you to counselling, and identify your goals for therapy. Together, we will begin creating a path forward that is tailored to your unique needs, strengths, and experiences, while laying the foundation for meaningful and lasting change.
Many insurance plans cover counselling services provided by a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). I encourage all clients to review their extended health benefits or contact their provider directly to determine their coverage.
I work with youth, teens, individuals, couples, and families navigating life's challenges and transitions. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship concerns, family stress, life transitions, teen pregnancy, pregnancy and postpartum adjustment, separation and divorce, and the complexities of blended family dynamics.

I understand that life happens and schedules can change. While I will always do my best to accommodate your needs, I kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. This helps ensure that appointment times can be offered to other clients seeking support.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, will be subject to the full session fee.
Yes. Creating a safe, trusting, and supportive environment is an important part of the therapeutic process. Information shared during counselling is kept confidential and will not be disclosed without your written consent, except in situations where disclosure is required by law.
There are limited exceptions to confidentiality that are in place to protect your safety and the safety of others. These may include concerns related to child abuse or neglect, the abuse or neglect of a vulnerable person, risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or when records are required by a court order or other legal obligation.
I understand that taking the first step toward counselling can feel overwhelming, and timely support matters. I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, and strive to see new clients within 1–5 days whenever possible. My goal is to make accessing support simple and convenient, so let's find a time that works for you and get started.
